Twist Off! is a punk/hardcore band formed in Las Vegas in 2020 by guitarist and vocalist Kaesen Samson, with Nicholas Lacy on bass and Austin Mansfield on drums. Drawing inspiration from early punk legends like The Misfits, The Clash, and Social Distortion, while embracing the raw energy of newer hardcore bands such as End It, Angel Du$t, Turnstile, and Spy, Twist Off! creates a unique sound that blends aggression and groove. Their music, described as angry but fun, features high-energy punk and hardcore influences with a light 90s hip-hop vibe, characterized by Mansfield's driving drums, Samson's intense lyrical flow, and Lacy's unorthodox funk bass lines. In 2024, the band released their debut EP, Immaculate, to enthusiastic acclaim, cementing their reputation with performances like opening for The Descendants at the Punk Rock Bowling Music Festival. This year, Twist Off! will reach another milestone with a performance at the prestigious Rebellion Festival in the UK this August, alongside the release of their self-titled album later this year.
